About Mind with Samantha
Hi, I’m Samantha.
I’m an MSc Psychology (Conversion) student, HR Director, and I’m passionate about people. Curious about what makes us think, feel, and act the way we do.
After nearly a decade of working in people-focused roles, predominantly in the HR world, I’ve learned a great deal about how we present ourselves in the workplace, in relationships, and within ourselves. However, I’ve also seen where our systems fall short: how we prioritise performance over wellbeing, how we avoid difficult emotions, and how often we carry silent stories that we’ve never truly processed.
So I decided to go deeper.
In 2025, I began my formal training in psychology through the Open University. Mind with Samantha is a space where I share that journey through reflections, insights, and gentle observations about being human in a fast-moving world.
The end goal is a successful and longstanding career as a practitioner, and this is just the beginning of that journey.
What I Believe
- We all carry unseen patterns shaped by our experiences, trauma, and beliefs.
- Emotional safety isn’t soft: it’s the foundation of growth.
- Curiosity is more powerful than judgment.
- Healing often begins with awareness, but it also requires action.
- You don’t have to be a psychologist yet to think deeply, ask questions, or hold space for others.
